The conference "Redefining Theatre: Theatre and Society in Transition" organised within the “Theatre ReDefined“ project will be held online on 28-29 May, 2021.
The event will focus on theatre in times of societal transition both in general terms and with a specific focus on the post-1989 transformations in Central and Eastern Europe. Special emphasis will be placed on the inter-relations between theatre and the public spheres, and on power relations within theatre and its social and political contexts.
